An Egyptian skull from about 3300 years ago has been found with Hair Extensions

The woman was not mummified as usual, but wrapped in a mat. They found about 70 extensions fastened in different layers and heights on the head, according to Jolanda Bos, an archaeologist working on the Amarna Project.

According to Inquisitr and Live Science, where the original story first showed up remains found in the area had hair that ranges from curly and black to middle brown and straight, suggesting that there was a good deal of difference in the way people looked – similar to today :) .
